President SENSITIVE Toothpaste (Hydroxyapatite)
Based on Potassium Nitrate (a substance capable of interrupting the exchange of signals between the nerve cells in the teeth), Sodium Fluoride and Hydroxyapatite (which promotes the progressive occlusion of the dentinal tubules), the toothpaste is indicated as a treatment for dentine sensitivity, the annoying or painful sensation that is perceived when the dentin, one of the most sensitive parts of the tooth, is discovered, allowing external stimuli (hot-cold, sweet-acid) to reach the nerve endings located in the pulp of the tooth. The causes of the appearance of dentinal sensitivity can be many: not only gingival recession or post-operative trauma, but also persistent brushing with abrasive toothpastes or very hard toothbrushes. The formulation of this toothpaste is characterized by low abrasiveness to be more delicate on enamel and gums and by an optimal content of lime and chamomile plant extracts and bisabolol, a compound contained in the essential oil of Chamomile, with marked soothing properties on the tissues of the oropharyngeal cavity.
